The great writer John Berger wrote about Morandi: “The visible begins with light, and as soon as it comes, there is the shadow”.
The later editing allows me to alter the images until I can articulate ideas as such: transformation and building limits. Shape and function as an object are transformed; which has become a way of exploring the complexity of the form, endowing it with other meanings.
Bio
I was born in Zaragoza in 1972.
My career as a photographer began around the 90s, when I ran a small family business of photography in the northern mountains of Spain.
Only after graduating from an Arts School, I became interested in author photography. I got some Awards, in 2002 and 2004 to develop a photography projects in Spain and France. There I traveled for a year, attending to École Superieure de Photographie, in Arles.
Over the years, I have been attending to Workshops with prestigious photographers: Antoine d'Agata (Magnum Agency), Javier Vallhonrat or Ferdinando Scianna ( Magnum Agency).
I have a degree at the University in Spain on Art History.
My projects are about STILL-LIFES. To represent a conceptual metaphor about the object, from the original picture I interfere with digital Photoshop, to create square format photomontages.
